Nationally recognised
flair, innovative design and attention to aesthetics and build
quality are the trademarks associated with our work in the leisure
sector.
Our acknowledged
experience in conservation gives an added dimension to clients
requiring restoration and re-use of historic buildings for leisure
purposes.
The world famous
Champneys Health Resort is an example of a £6.5 million refurbishment
of a French style chateau, which combined conservation of the
original building with sensitively, designed extensions and a
major facelift whilst the facility remained fully operational
throughout the project.
As with all commissions
undertaken by Acanthus Clews Architects, our main considerations
are for timely project management, a special consideration for
the overall aspect and position in sensitive settings and careful
vetting of costs.
Our portfolio
in the leisure market includes remodelling of grade 1 listed buildings
and hotels, the provision of conference and function suites and
major building and landscaping for golf courses.
