This project involved the sensitive conversion of a redundant barn attached to a village farmhouse to create a studio for an art conservator.

The new arched openings and roof light provided south west light into the double storey height space which had a first floor open gallery leading to ancillary accommodation. The heating is underfloor providing a controlled of heat and comfort for someone carrying out concentrated tasks over a long period. The studio overlooks a beautiful walled garden.
