New appointments

Staff changes reflect growth of practice
In addition to the appointment to the board of Mark Smith, Acanthus Clews have made a number of other staff changes in line with the increasing volume and diversity of work.

Dr David Pendery has been promoted to the position of associate. David is an award-winning senior architect with many years’ experience. He specialises in conservation and local authority work.

Dan Fleming has recently joined the practice as an experienced architectural technician. Dan was previously with WS Atkins and Babtie.

Stephanie Yates has joined the practice as an architectural assistant. A few years ago Stephanie had work experience at Acanthus Clews whilst a pupil at nearby Chenderit School, an Acanthus Clews client.

Niall Tainton
recently graduated from Oxford Brookes and joined the practice as an architectural assistant. He is currently studying for his Part III while working on a number of school projects.

Andrew Davies is a Part I graduate from Oxford Brookes on a year out placement.

Kelly Spooner is the new personal assistant to the practice’s education team.

Some short term changes see Katie Duggan returning to college to complete her postgraduate diploma studies, while Laura Wherrett is on maternity leave.
