Acanthus Clews’ plans for Lincoln’s Inn approved

Planning approval and listed building consent have been obtained for Acanthus Clews’ exciting proposals for the Grade II* Great Hall at Lincoln’s Inn.

A two stage tender process has been enacted and work is scheduled to start early in 2004 with completion in September 2004.

The extensive and highly detailed plans have been prepared by Martin Smart, Simon Hayward, Laura Wherrett and Nic Robinson.

The aim is to improve the catering and administrative facilities of the Inn and to enhance access to the Great Hall. This includes the insertion of a new mezzanine floor with a contemporary steel and glass bridge link.
