Extension to Kirtlington Church

Kirtlington Church aims to increase the scope of its activities by creating additional space through a new and versatile extension on the north side of the mediaeval church.

The solution proposed by Acanthus Clews is a community hall with seating for eighty people and the facilities to host a whole range of village events. The venue will appeal to all sections of the community, particularly young people and families.

The extension is being built in matching stone and is linked to the existing church by an enclosed glazed reception hall so that activities can take place independently of the church when required.
