School Sports Pavillion gets approval

Kingston Borough Council have recently granted Planning approval for a New Sports and Performing Arts Pavilion at Holycross Preparatory School.

The Practice were appointed, having previously worked on a number of schemes for the school in the past.

The historic and sensitive nature of the site as well as the schools aspirations to
Commission a flagship building for the future, led to a bold and contemporary solution, which sits half  submerged in the schools naturally terraced grounds.

The removal of the existing timber clad hall, also allowed for sensitive reinstatement and repair of the existing rear elevation to the main school building.
