Coventry Cathedrals bomb-damaged stained glass found A forgotten store of the original cathedral stained glass has been found in a workshop in Norfolk and handed over to cathedral architect Michael Clews. The glass still bears the soot from the devastating wartime incendiary bomb. After the bombing the glass was removed and put in a workshop where it remained undisturbed until rediscovered. English Heritage were alerted and they in turn told Michael Clews who is considering how best to preserve and display the glass. |
