Acanthus Conference Weekend 07 - Eden Project

Continuing the theme of Sustainability and the continued protection of the environment, this years Acanthus Group Conference was set against the Biome structures of the Eden Project. Representatives of all the Acanthus practices were given the chance to walk the site, as well as attend a series of lectures and seminars, including discussions with  Antony Hunt, the Projects Structural Engineer

With over 150 delegates the annual conference is an opportunity for practices nationwide to exchange thoughts and views on architecture and the built environment, as well as broader practice issues. This year the conference began with a talk at the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, followed by a formal dinner
