| Party
guests hear practice announce plans for the future
At
an elegant reception at Acanthus House on 30th September 2005,
a hundred Acanthus Clews clients heard the practice announce it
is taking a number of exciting steps towards creating a significant
architectural practice outside London.
The news is led by the approval of planning for the new extension
to Acanthus House reflecting the rate of growth of the practice
since moving into the building in 2003. The additional two-storey
accommodation will allow Acanthus Clews to realise medium to
long-term aspirations for the practice.
At the same time the practice announced that Michael Clews has
received accreditation as an RIBA/AABC conservation architect,
joining colleague Andrew Salter as two of just five such architects
in Oxfordshire.
Commenting on the client reception, Heather Clews said: “The
party was a perfect opportunity to say thank you to our clients
and to announce how, with their support, we are building Acanthus
Clews for the future.”
