Acanthus Clews in 10km run for Muscular Dystrophy

Four members of Acanthus Clews staff have completed a 10 kilometre run to highlight the plight of Muscular Dystrophy sufferers.

Despite the 30 degree temperature, the runners joined a team from various Acanthus practices throughout Britain to undertake the run in London on Sunday 13th July.

Those taking part on behalf of Acanthus Clews were Martin Smart, Mark Smith, Camilla Clews and David Finlay.

Acanthus Chairman and Acanthus Clews director, Martin Smart, who ran the distance in a very creditable 48 minutes, commented after the race: “Cycling is normally my thing but I was happy to accept this challenge in a good cause. It was quite hot!”
